Terms of Service

1. General Information

• Application: Balance AI: Budget & Expenses ("Balance AI" or the "App").
• Developer: Michael Martinez Pulido.

• Distribution Platform: Google Play Store for Android devices.
• Store Terms: Use of the App is also subject to the current Terms of Service and policies of Google Play Store.
• Service Nature: Personal financial management tool with budget, goal, expense analysis, and Balance AI intelligent assistant features.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you accept these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

• Minimum Age: You must be at least 16 years old or the applicable age of majority in your jurisdiction.
• Information Accuracy: You guarantee that the information provided is real, accurate, and will be kept updated.
• Credentials: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity performed under your account.

3. Permitted Use and Restrictions

• Authorized Use: The App is offered solely for personal and lawful purposes. Unauthorized commercial use is prohibited.
• Prohibited Conduct: You may not (i) violate applicable laws, (ii) attempt to access systems or data without authorization, (iii) interfere with the App's operation, or (iv) use it to transmit malicious content.
• User Content: You are responsible for the financial data and texts entered. You guarantee having the necessary rights to store them within the App.

4. Main Features

• Financial Management: Unlimited recording of transactions, budgets, goals, and multiple accounts.
• Balance AI: Conversational assistant that analyzes transactions, categorizes expenses, and detects operations from compatible messages or notifications.
• Integrations: Secure synchronization with Google services, Firebase, and other providers necessary for the App's operation.

5. Device Permissions

• Notifications: Access to receive, read, and process financial notifications to detect relevant transactions.
• Accessibility Services (optional): Interpret notification and message content when you enable this option to expand automatic operation detection.
• Microphone / Audio Recording: Capture voice commands for Balance AI; audio is processed temporarily and discarded after generating the response.
• Internet Access and Network Status: Allows syncing data with the cloud, running AI models, and validating your subscription status.
• Secure Local Storage: Save configurations, encrypted caches, and data necessary for offline operation.
• Biometric Authentication or Device Credentials: Facilitate secure access when you enable this function.

You can manage these permissions from your Android device settings. Some functions may be limited if you revoke essential permissions.
